Canada Summer Games Team Announcement

This journey started a couple of years ago for all of the athletes and hit its peak over the last two weekends at the Lethbridge KOS and the Calgary KOS, both events are a part of our draft legal racing series. We would like to thank the event organizers of the Lethbridge KOS, Danny Robdrup, and the Calgary KOS, Shane Turner, for hosting such excellent qualifying events! The final shortlisted athletes battled to earn a spot to represent Alberta at the 2022 Canada Summer Games, which will take place in Niagara, Ontario, from Saturday, August 6 through to Sunday,  August 21.

As the selection events concluded, three male and three female athletes (and alternates), were selected to TeamAB, each of whom will go on to compete in three separate events; Sprint Triathlon (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), Super Sprint Triathlon (300m swim, 8km bike, 1.6km run) and the Mixed Team Relay (<300m swim, <8km bike, <1.6km run), accumulating points from all events to provide the final Provincial/Territorial team Games ranking.
